Lost!

Lost - hate this word! Hate this feeling!! However, that is the best word to describe myself at the moment. Everything is so overwhelming. Gosh! I just feel like i can't breathe anymore. I wake up every morning, feeling so lost. Don't know what to do! Don't know where to go! Feeling so useless, totally aimless!! Awww, man! Where has all my confidence gone to?

Last night, i had trouble sleeping. Decided to clear up my wardrobe. As i was doing so, it struck me that i have clothes that could last me for at least 6 months or more. Many i've only worn once, especially dresses. Some still brand new, haven't even worn any of them before even though i bought them few years back. *aiks*

So, in conjunction with the shopping ban imposed earlier, my very first project assigned o myself is to make use of 'old' clothes in the wardrobe. Emm..think i'll just call it 'Project Recycle'. To fully make use of all the clothes that i haven't worn before, those that i've worn only once or twice, those forgotten, ignored and whateva stuff that's in my wardrobe. NO MORE NEW CLOTHES!!! Till when?? Good Question! ....

Next, to be free of plastic debts! Something i've allowed to drag for so so long and is taking a major toll on my finances. Think of all the $ that could be sitting in my bank account if it weren't for the overboard usage of credit cards. Now with the new car coming (Yes! I'm finally getting a new car. Though it happened earlier than as planned and is not exactly the car that i wanted but, i guess that's just life. Nothing goes as planned & You don't always get what you want!!!), I need to manage my finances well. Afterall, it's my very first commitment. I guess i could consider myself very lucky. So, i shouldn't dwell on it..

Well, just trying to figure things out one at a time, trying to address & settle issues, problems, crisis, whateva shytes.. hopefully by end of Oct, the rain and thunder will be over. Urrghh.. I need a break badly, HOWEVERR now is not entirely the most appropriate time of all! Sigh! Just have to bear with it for a 'lil while more. =(

pleasant surprise!

Woke up to a bright, sunny Sunday, and went downstairs to find some pleasant surprise awaiting for me - my fav fishball noodles and birds nest. Hoorayy!!

* Tantalizing chilli sauce *

If i remember correctly what my Papa told me, this fishball noodle stall opens around 7am and by 11am everything will be sold out. I just luurrveee their fishball noodle soup - soup is just fantastic and totally made from 100% pure fish broth; fishballs - super bouncy, Tofu w fish meat - equally fantastic and last but not least, beancurd wrapped with fish meat - delicious! Thanks to my good 'ol Papa, who bought this at 7 am before he wenta work, i was able to have a scrumptious breakfast this morning =)

* Birds Nest *

My second surprise and this time from my dearest Mama - Birds Nest *hehe*. Mama said i am too heaty hence, the loss of voice and constant dry coughing. The perfect remedy would be this divine dessert *grins* . Thanks Mommy!! *Muackkkss*

Oh! Mommy bought 2 packets of Hakka Mee for me to bring back to KL later. Looks like dinner and supper time would be Hakka Mee time...*hohohoho* Nah! Maybe i'll leave a packet for my hommie, when she comes home tonight. We'll see..

Hmm..gota start packing, friend's coming to pick me up at 3pm. Think there'll be time for me to take a short nap i guess, tired after a HUGE breakfast of fish-ballies and birds nest...

Gosh! Each time i am back home, gluttony indulgence is basically unavoidable ^.^
Here are some of my favorite "must have" foods:-

* Laksa Lou Shu Fun *

* Dry Lou Shu Fun *

Note: Both are from the same stall near my house. It's an atap stall near a chinese temple in Temiang area. My must hav's once i am back home. There are basically two different tenants for this stall, one in the morning and another at noon. Both selling the same stuff, but i prefer the morning stall's Laksa.

* 'Kok Chai' (Dumpling with turnips,carrots etc) *

* Yam cake *

* Peanut Porridge *

Note: Dumplings, Yam Cakes and Peanut Porridge is also from the same stall in between two rows of shops near The Old Store, on the way towards Lobak Road. I just love the dumplings. Peanut porridge and yam cakes are just average only. Reason being, i can't and don't know where to get these type of dumplings in KL. These make good tea time snacks. Yummy!!

* Tau Kei Hakka Mee - My ALL TIME fav *

Haha! The previous time i was back, i ordered take-away of 5 packets of hakka mee to bring back to KL. Of course, the taste is just not the same anymore if you don't dine in but i just can't help it. So, i ended up having hakka mee for breakfast, lunch and dinner for the next 2 days. Yikes! Crazy, huh? Btw, there's also a mixture of mee & lou shu fun, which i love dearly.

Basically, my routine once i reach home is just Eat, Sleep, Eat, Sleep, Eat, Sleep. >.<

It's your birthday today.. 'Happy Birthday Dumbo!' Sigh! Wish i could celebrate with u but i know i can't. Many things are on my mind and i keep getting flashbacks of the past. It's so depressing but what can i do? Nothing! That's it - nothing!! Anyways, whatever. May you get what u wished for and be happy with it. I'm tired, so so tired. Of being in this pit, of feeling this way, of being depressed, sad, having tonnes of unhappy thoughts lingering on my mind. All these shytes are just smoldering me. Totally not a good feeling!

Acute Laryngitis

Hola! Guess what? Basically, the loss of voice was due to a condition diagnosed by the doctor as Acute Laryngitis (inflammation of my voice-box in lament terms). Mr Doc said ' Switch off your mobile, you need more rest, DON'T TALK and take lots of liquid'. So, i am officially on medical leave for 2 days ..

These are the medications prescribed by 'The professional':-

* Dhasolone - relief of throat itchiness*

* Sedilix-DM - cough mixture*

* Augmentin (antibiotics -crucial!!) *

I guess the hectic & stressful weeks of September has taken a toll on me =( . What a way to welcome October - voice-less *Pfftttt* . Btw, Aldo is having a warehouse sales, which started on the 30th of Sep - 4th of Oct at 1-Utama (1st floor Rainforest, Bargain Centre). Discounts were up to 70% and the temptation was just too crazy to resist..i had to check it out, rite??? Who can say no to a good bargain?? *evil smile*

Yes! Yes! I know i am banned from shopping, BUTTTTTTT... It's a warehouse sales!!! & It's ALDO...Hellooo!!! Afterall, i did manage to hit my target (*partially*) and manage to get some $$$... Somehow or rather i ended up in 1-Utama, voice-less and checking out the varieties of shoes on sales..Gosh! Just couldn't take my eyes off them, the sight of FABULOUS shoes just lights me up instantly. I know Jimmy Choo's & Manolo Blahnik's are to die for but sadly, i can't afford those at this point of time. So, i'll just have to forget 'bout the Manolo's & the Choo's. Aldo would just have to do the job currently.

Shopping ban, TOTALLY forgotten then instant second i stepped into the bargain centre. I've had a VERY stressful month, and i decided to reward myself. Evil, huh? I don't care!!! I just went berserk.. The boots on the racks were just fierce and discounts were from 50-70%..I would've snapped them up if it weren't for the fact that Malaysia's weather is not exactly suitable to wear those beautiful suede and leather boots (NOT FAIR!!!!).

I tried on a couple of shoes but they were either a size too small or few sizes too big. Was on the verge of despair when the helpful retail assistant found some stilettos with my size, 37 *muackss*

Initial choice on my mind would be flats, more practical for work and also for leisure. A pair of silver flats caught my attention but too bad they were of size 36, a tad too small. Saw another pointed toe flats in plain black but they were 2 sizes bigger. Frustrating, huh? Next on my mind would be open-toed stilettos, but those available were just plain blahh...

Thus, i figure i'll just stick to whatever that catches my eye. I can't walk away empty handed, can i? THENNN... I saw the coolest pair of stiletto EVER..The design looks like something from Ungaro, only on a shoe. Some may like it, some may not but i don't really care. It's just so my style. Price - RM126 (after 70% discount) Ain't that a catch!!

Next, a pair of leopard print pointed toe stiletto caught my eye. Sexy!! It matches my new Balenciaga bag. Another version of the leopard print was open toed with a cute buckle, tried it on but it was not very comfortable. The most important criteria (besides the design & outlook) is comfort !! Hence, i decided on the pointed toe version - RM186 (after 50% discount). I could go on and on but one has to have some self-control, rite? So i limit myself to getting 2 pairs only this time..*haha* Can barely wait till their next sales.. Besides, they throw a sales like in every 3 months at the end of the season. Hopefully by then my shopping ban is over (*fingers crossed!!*).

OMG! I'm constantly coughing, sneezing and wheezing. Aiks! Flu on the way. Guess i better chug down some cough mixture to cease the cough and pop the rest of the antibiotics and medications given. And rest!! REst! Rest! Rest! Woohoo! Friday tomorrow! Must regain my voice, i want to go out!!!!
