Pinchoz - Shirley & Rudy's birthday (290809)

Another event attended during the Merdeka weekend - Shirley & Rudy's (of Pinchoz@Changkat Bukit Bintang) birthday celebration. Location - Next to Le Bouchon. A whole night of good food (tapas, of course. It's a tapa's bar!!) great wine & most importantly, great company!

* Initial choices of outfit:

(Left) black LBD MNG & maroon shawl turned into belt - Zara;

(Right) sleeveless, cropped top - Jaspal, purple chamisole & tweed, cropped pants - both from MNG

* Outfit for the night (finally decided! *phew*)

bronze beaded necklace
black bangle (H & M)
monogram mini lin canvas speedy (Louis Vuitton)
matched with Daviana heels (ALDO - not in pic).

Btw, I tried out my new Victoria Secret Very Voluptuous Mascara in Very Black. Bad news is, it's not available in Malaysia (bought it during one of my shopping spree @ Changi Airport during one of my biz trips 2 months ago). I would rate it a 3.5-4 out of 5. It really adds extreme volume to the lashes and application wise - very soft & smooth flowing. Price - $30 (Singaporean Dollar).

* The product

Well, since a picture speaks a thousand words. Here are some snippets of the eventful night:-

* Some of the wines (pressie from us to birthday couple) - Pinot Grigio (Australian)

Between the two, i prefer Billi Billi Pinot Grigio more, though some prefer the top one (pic) - McGuigan 2008 Pinot Grigio.

Note: Birthday cake (choc w almonds in between the layers) was super delicious & was baked by the wonderful chef himself (if i rmbr it correctly *grins*). Gosh, i'm practically salivating at the thought of it.

Note: Champagne (Ferarri) - half the price of Moet, taste better. I, personally prefer this over Moet.
